ATTabs shows artifacts on GTK2 when N*1000 tabs are opened

Video shows artifacts - it has comments after 1:50 until 6:mm.

What I do - in CudaText Linux x64 gtk2, I call plugin CudaExt with command "open all files from folder with sub-folders".
I choose fpcupdeluxe folder with 10K pas files (*.pas *.inc).

Lazarus 2.1.0 r63235M FPC 3.2.0 x86_64-linux-gtk2
What is wrong with Laz?

just a question... have you tried the same test on Windows ?... if yes, did you get artifacts on Windows as well ?

I don't get artifacts on Qt5 nor on Win32.
I made bug visible in ATFlatControls demo - in Github. Run demo "app/demo_tabs" and press "stress (1K tabs)".
