Freeze

Neuromancien:
Hello !

Lazarus freezes when I want to quit. I can't use the keyboard or mouse anymore !!  :?

Lightning:
Run from the console and check the messages.
Lazarus sends a lot of them :)
Maybe you don't have write access on some directory and it can't write something or some old incompatible libs/so.

i using Lazarus with Slackware 9.1
After ~2min. of using, Lazarus freezes. Window Manager IceWm or FluxBox.
I must shutdown X server (Ctrl+Alt+BackSpace)
With WindowMaker it is OK

Lightning:
Lazarus uses GTK and runs well with GNOME or KDE, i didn't test with other desktop managers.
It runs fine under Red Hat 9(kernel 2.4) and Mandrake 10(kernel 2.6), some people had problems with small fonts running on Debian but Lazarus should run on Slackware and SuSE.
