www.freepascal.org website - download link errors

It would appear that all the links on the home page under News to "the download section" fail because they currently link to "https://www.freepascal.org/download.var" which returns "Not Acceptable" from the Apache server.

Yes. The VAR system has been turned off around new year. Probably you have some deep link to same page that still references them.

However if you go to the main page, and then navigate to some form of error, that is a bug, and I'd like to know.

As I mentioned, the links are on the home page of the freepascal.org website in the News section.

Yes. That's probably because the latest news-item is from 2017.
But it could have been adjusted.
(Incuding the typo on the news page "continued from hope page"  ;) )

Using the download in the sidebar under general does work.

Ah ok, I understand, should be fixed in SVN (usually goes live  at midnight CET)
