I have updated the How to use the forum Wiki page with an extensive list of tips in a new section titled ''How to ask for help effectively''.

Feel free to add any further tips that I did not think of when creating that new section.

Unfortunately there doesn't appear an appropriate forum to which to add a post with the Wiki link to that content.
