FPC 2.1.1 for PowerPC?

I know this has been discussed before, but are there any plans to post a snapshot for PowerPC of FPC 2.1.1? Recent fixes are not available in 2.0.4.

There are no plans, AFAIK. For me it hasn't a high priority.

I will make snapshots for another version than fpc 2.0.4, when the first beta for fpc 2.2 will be released.

I see mention of a 2.0.5, but apparently even it doesn't have some of the fixes I need. Will 2.2 be available eventually for PowerPC?

Yes, fpc 2.2 will be released for darwin-powerpc too.

If the fixes aren't too incompatible or complex, you could ask the fpc team to merge them on 2.0.5

Actually, they referred me to the Lazarus team.

Vincent: Any idea of how long before we can test 2.2 on PowerPC? 1 month? 6 months?

I expect the first beta for fpc 2.2 in Q2-2007 and the 2.2 release three months later.

I assume that's calendar year, right? U.S. government FY2007 started Oct. 1, 2006. My employer's FY starts July 1.

Yes, Q2 is from April till June.
