I used the sourceforge rpms, aliened them and installed them on Libranet (debian based) with success.

http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=89339

fpc-1.0.11-031022.i386.rpm
fpcsrc-1.0.11-20031022.i386.rpm
lazarus-0.9.0.6-fpc_1.0.11_031022.i386.rpm

Just download the above rpms, run alien on them and install using dpkg -i. They work on Libranet (debian based.)

i aliened them successfully but when i come to install the deb package i get an error,
dpkg: error processing //root/lazarus_0.9.1.4-1_i386.deb (--install):
trying to overwrite `/usr/bin/lazarus', which is also in package tct
i dunno how i could get around this, i tried renaming the conflicted file to something else with no success. sorry if this is dumb, im a linux newbie.
what is tct?

apt-cache show tct

Apparantly some utility package also providing a binary with the name 'lazarus'.
