I installed the Axctive control in Lazarus and the type lib was created and things work at design time.. However, nothing seems to work at runtime..?

How do we get that control to respond ? Do I need to load something in it etc ?

anyone got a simple example here ?

This of course is Windows 10

Ok, I guess I answered my own question... here

The ACTIVE property needs to be set to true...  :)

However, I also found in bug, serious one.. In the designer if you set that property it crashes the IDE.

That property should not be functional at design time..
Also it seems that HeapTrc does not like this active control being there because it will generate a external fault on exit..

Also, where is a good place to store the Type libs for all projects ?
