Small useful application examples for new users

Hi,
I'm wondering if you have created small applications to be used as examples for all those who are new about Lazarus, or perhaps Delphi/Pascal.

For example I have created two simple games (they can be downloaded from my Home Page):
1. MineField (a Mine Sweeper clone)
2. Lazix (a Tetris clone, actualy alpha)

It will be nice to collect such simple applications (games or whatever they are), so if you think that you are creating or already created one, then share it!

I started, it is up to you to increase this list!

Vincent Snijders:
There are a few examples in the lazarus\examples. More examples would be a good idea. Maybe you can add a link to your examples in some page (or a new page) at lazarus-ccr.sourceforge.net.

Giuseppe RidinĂ²:
Well,... I created a project on SourceForge:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/dedalu/ (DEDALU := Demos and Examples of Developing Applications by Lazarus Usage)

Vincent Snijders:
Just out of curiosity: Why didn't you use the Lazarus Code and Component Repositry for these kind of projects?
IMHO it is a loss for the lazarus-ccr project, that there is a seperate project created to do about the same thing: providing code examples for lazarus. Did the lazarus-ccr project admins turn down your demo's or didn't they want to allow you to be a developer?

lazarus-ccr.sourceforge.net is mentioned in the lazarus about box and I think it will be one of the first sites people come and look at to find more information about lazarus.

Giuseppe RidinĂ²:
Lazarus-CCR looks more like to be focused to support for components and libraries to work with Lazarus and FPC. Right?  :?:
DEDALU is focused about development of small applications with Lazarus/FPC. It will not deal with any specific library or a single componet.
They are separeted targets, even if related to each other.
I have also in mind to develop some components,... in that case I will of course use Lazarus-CCR  :P
