Lazarus terminates after "Run"

I Run a simple "Hello World" program from the Lazarus Run...Run menu and Lazarus immediately terminates after the Build. The Build was OK with a "Succesfully completed" message. When I double click the program's file name (in File Manager), the program runs just fine.
Is there a setting somewhere that can fix this ? I am running Lazarus under the Linsprire 6.0 linux distro.

If you can provide a detailed information about what is happening, try the bugtracker.

Check if you disable debugging.
