Slow is slow. Over two years of original post.
I did notice Marcovs Symbolic do not like equal sign. Not a biggie. With some StrUtils functions as pre-processing the user input and equation is an expression and also handles - of course - a input without equal sign ... as pure expression. Also crude auto population of form with symbolic variables is now there, biggie for me not for anyone even advanced amateur.
1% done, 99% left.
I did notice that someone have in a meanwhile put a Delphi project on GitHub with similar ideas.
Ok, now I need to get the root solving going again. Funny how much one forgets while taking a two years cap from a project. Too many hobby projects and too little time... At least in this project I do not need to re-invent recursion .... I hope.
