fpc compiler in 64 bit - availability?

I'd like to test fpc as (itself) 64 bit.

When is that expected to release?

The Intel version of FPC 3.0.4 comes with universal 32/64 bit binaries.

The question is for the compiler itself.  I already gen _64 bit code.

My question is related to Mac OS enforcement of 64 bit apps coming down the pike.  (I'm not sure that includes utilities such as compilers).

Please clarify that.

Is there a single installed fpc that will load (or run) as 32 or 64 bit as the OS prefers?

The operating system will do that automatically if your CPU is 64 bit capable.
