Fields editor - how?
« on: June 06, 2007, 04:00:29 am »
I've searching how to "activate" the fields editor but no luck.

In delphi just doble click the dataset descendant component or use contex menu and select "Fields editor" I have no clue how to do it in lazarus.

I just downloaded lazarus snapshot today, about says 0.9.23 beta.

Regards.

you probably downloaded a snapsshot using 2.0.4, fields editor will only work with fpc 2.1.X or later....

AFAIK Lazarus 0.9.23 doesn't work at least with  fpc 2.1.4 due to bug in generating IndexDefs property which is marked read-only in this versionj of fpc.

Does it mean that with current official version of Lazarus 0.9.22 (fpc 2.0.4) we can't create persistent TField components?
