Ok, First, I hope this isn't a major forum rule I'm breaking or anything. I looked but I must have missed it. >.>
If so, Sorry for that, you can lock/kill the thread as needed. =/
Anyways, I've followed grc's SQRL off and on since it started and it seems like a good replacement for passwords.
Website:
https://www.grc.com/sqrl/sqrl.htmForums:
https://sqrl.grc.com/One of the issues that SQRL has is the official client is Windows only, and being writen in MASM, it's probably going to stay that way. They are lacking a pure Linux and Mac client but Lazarus / Free Pascal would be a perfect solution to this.
However the coding for the internet and encryption stuff is WAY over my head.
(I had no idea you even could get a website to reply to a request by sending stuff to a local program, I mean it makes sense if you think about it, but...)
So would anyone here be interested in making a SQRL client for all platforms?
Not only would it help SQRL to have an easy to use client that is the same for everyone, but it could also get Lazarus / Free Pascal some exposure as well.
