Lazarus + Zeos + Linux
« on: April 27, 2007, 12:44:24 am »
I've searched the topics on this subject here, but unfortunately those I found aren't uptodate, so decided to start this one.

I have both windows and linux Lazarus 0.922 working fine.
The difference is that I managed to install zeos (version 6.6.1 beta) packages into the windows xp version.
With Linux (xubuntu 6.10 - KDE) version it was not possible. When it comes to rebuild lazarus, after compiling the packages, an error message says that it won't be possible because it was not possible to locate ZClass 6.5.1 (funny since I'm installing version 6.6.1...)

Anybody here with the same problem?
By the way, I have already created a similar topic on Zeos forum.

thanks,

Zevang

It would be great if you could join us at http://zeosforum.net.ms to further discuss this matter.
I posted a topic at "6.5.1 (alpha) - 6.6.x (beta)" under the title "Zeos with Lazarus on Linux".

cheers,
