While DBEdit and DBGrid appear to respect "AutoEdit - False" in the Datasource;

At least DBCheckBox and DBRadioGroup do not.  I.e. they try to update the dataset even when it's not in edit / insert mode.  A work around is to disable / enable these controls on browse / edit.

The changes required in dbcheckbox.inc and dbradiogroup.inc are not as obvious as I would like them to be so I'll open a Bug report, unless I'm missing something very simple.  Am I?

My second question is do I need to register separtely to post to the bug tracker / again am I missing something simple?  The account I  used to post this message gets the following from "Bug Tracking":

"Your account may be disabled or blocked or the username/password you entered is incorrect"

You need a seperate account for the bug tracker.
