@jipété
• You started Your Thread with "create a metronome in Lazarus ... on Windows 10", and never changed.
I really don't understand what you say : I've never started a thread related to W10 because I simply don't use W10. Never. No W10 in my computers. Never.
Maybe you are confused by the JP post, https://forum.lazarus.freepascal.org/index.php/topic,36616.msg244219.html#msg244219 ?
It's not me.
Dear jipété,
I do not know if you are aware that the post you made (in this thread) did not started this thread. It was started by the Original Poster (OP) named "Noval" (
see first post in this thread).
That is why it is not always a good idea to post in (too) old threads and that do not match the original topic (that is sometimes also referred to as
thread necromancy or necro for short)
The reason is obvious: when someone reads the original posts (that were made before yours) it could be concluded that this is a thread related to the Windows 10 platform. Though your issue is at least somewhat related so it isn't complete unrelated.
Just try to keep that in mind because basically it is always good to try and find a related thread and post related question there (instead of creating a new thread (about the same topic over and over again)). It can be difficult to make the right decision but in case you do decide to post in an existing thread make sure to mention the differences between your situation and those from the original poster (in case there are any) in order to avoid any confusion (such as seem to be happening right now)
2 cents,
