Can't install cairo pdf exporter

My system:     lazarus 1.6.4 64bits Win 10
After installation of Cairo pdf Exporter, Lazarus cannot restart with Error : 0XC000007b
I know that is problem of DLLs in win 32 / win64.
How to fix it? Please.

I had the same problem on XP and I had to re install Lazarus. The solution: use powerPDF instead of Cairo. Cairo has problems with the DLL in Windows, but in Linux works fine.

oh!, I have to use Cairo exporter to export Unicode text while powerpdf can't do it. Anyway, thank you for your quick reply.

You don't have to reinstall Lazarus. You can always find a backup executable in the main folder(LazarusDir). Under windows is  "lazarus.old.exe". Just delete the current, corrupted exe, then rename "lazarus.old.exe" to "lazarus.exe".

@GetMem It happened to me last year. I remember attempting to renaming the file "lazarus.old.exe" but it didn't work. It was the only time I had a problem of this kind.

For export PDF from LazReport try TlrPDFExport
