Surprise, surprise I was able to install the full JEDI JVCL suite into it.
Steps?

Isn't the Jedi installer dependant on the command-line compiler anymore?

The JEDI JVCL suite on sourceforge did not work for me from the command line any more. So I used the binary installers prepared by Andreas Hausladen on the Embarcadero Developer Network (membership is free)

a) for the JCL installer for 10.1 Berlin, go to cc.embarcadero.com/item/30553
b) for the JVCL installer for 10.1 Berlin, go to cc.embarcadero.com/item/30554

If you look around, you'll see that he has prepared installers for every Delphi version from Delphi 2010 to 10.1 Berlin (except for XE7 it seems).

Zeos worked just fine in Delphi 10.1 Berlin Starter. So you should be able to do the databases below.

Quote
The ZeosLib is a set of database components for MySQL, PostgreSQL, Interbase, Firebird, MS SQL, Sybase, Oracle and SQLite for Delphi, FreePascal/Lazarus, Kylix and C++ Builder.

Guys, D10 Berlin has nothing to do with Lazarus. You can't even compare them.
Lazarus 2.06 (64b) / FPC 3.0.4 / Windows 10
stucked on Delphi 10.3.1

Who is comparing them?

Although the topic could have been posted in or moved to "Other".

Yes, after nearly 50 offtopic posts, it is time to lock this thread I think. Embardero has forums of its own, and so does ZEOS.
