Standard components doesn't displayed
« on: August 18, 2016, 09:26:04 am »
Hello,

I'm using Lazarus 1.7 with FPC 3.0.0. I've got a problem with components palets : stadard components palet is not complete, there is only 3 components to use... I can see all standard components into display components menu (see the screenshot linked). It's the same problem with some standards other palets... I tried to clean and recompil lazarus but nothing changed... Any idea ?

Thank you for your help.
Patrick
My configuration is : Lazarus 1.6+dfsg-1 / FPC 3.0.0 / Debian Mint / x86_64-linux-gtk2

Make a backup of your Lazarus configuration directory and delete the old one (not the backup!).

Make sure that you don't have a datamodule active in Object Inspector. If you do have, then IDE will hide other visual components and only show non-visual components in the component palette.

OK ! It was because of the active data module  :o Thank you to give me your light because I can't find any information like this into the wiki.

Thank you again !
