Is the ecString command a noop ?

The GitHub search misses some code and all comments.
A better way is to search your Lazarus source directory with Ctrl-Shift-F in Lazarus itself.
It gives more matches and you can easily open the relevant file.
Apparently ecString is a valid functional command.

Actually it's not. But there is others such ecUpperCaseBlock.
