I could not find documentation for sSockets unit.

What can TInetSocket do?

Does it support IPv6 static address?

Does it have correct buffer chunking? Read(X^,1024768)

DNS?

Well, I looked through the source code in FPC 3.0, but no AF_INET6 support.

There is some DNS support though, for what it's worth.

I don't recommend this unit.

Did you try Indy? It support IPv6.
