error installing fpc2.6.4 "control-file-has-bad-permissions"

I have ubuntu machine and downloaded fpc from this link (sourceforge download page)

http://vorboss.dl.sourceforge.net/project/lazarus/Lazarus%20Linux%20i386%20DEB/Lazarus%201.4.4/fpc_2.6.4-150228_i386.deb

I opened the file using the  Ubuntu Software Centre and clicked install.

I get these messages, is there something wrong? I went ahead and installed and I can compile my projects..
