With Version Info activated, don't create .RC and .RES files
« on: October 21, 2006, 02:49:02 pm »
Hi,

I use an Ubuntu Dapper distro.

I have created a new Lazarus project named "test" with Version Info activated. (you can find Version Info in the Project/Project Options menu option).
When I build the project the following error message is displayed:

Error: Unable to open file "test.res"

I have tried the same thing with the Windows version of Lazarus, and in this case Lazarus create automatically an RC file (test.rc), and after the compiler create the RES file (test.res).

With the Linux version instead, no way to create RC and RES files within Lazarus.

It's a bug? I make something wrong?
Thank's
