Error
« on: October 01, 2006, 01:02:24 pm »
Hi,

Have just installed Lazarus  0.9.18-0.i386 on a clean Fedora 5 install.
When I run Lazarus I get this message:
Error: Util ld not found, switching to external linking

Any ideas?

Like all the other software through your distributions standard package installation utitilies ;)

Since you may not know them, I must admit that I don't know if and what graphical package manager Fedora has.

Sometimes I really think some people haven't heard about Google yet ;-)

Well that link is dangerous though, leads to downloading the RPM manually instead of getting it through the integrated packet managers channels, which assures that he gets the correct version ;)
