jvuiblib.pas (8,80): Can't find unit jvuiblib... why??
« on: October 01, 2006, 06:53:42 am »
Hello, guys...

Oh... I'm tired because various problems that I found trying to use Lazarus/Linux + UIB2.
After a long search for installations solutions, I'm having another problem: After installed sucessfully the UIB2, when I try to compile a project using UIB2, I have the terrifying message: "jvuiblib.pas (8,80): Can't find unit jvuiblib". This error shows a line that have no important codes as a comment line, for example.
Even putting the path of "source" directory (where is jvuiblib.pas) of UIB component in the Compiler Options --> Other Unit Files, the problem continues.

Please, anyone.... help me if you can. Please.

Thank you.

Well... again...

I discovered how solve it!

I putted this line in /etc/fpc.cfg:

-Fu<path>

where <path> is the path to components' source. For example:

-Fu/home/user/lazarus/mycomponents/UIB2/source

It solved my problem.

Again, thank you for attention paid
See you on next topic!
