Moving from fp.exe to Lazarus
(1/1)
Elap:
Having modified my Turbo Pascal text-based program (which was written years ago to run under a Command Prompt) to run under FP, and having experienced the idiosyncrasies of the IDE, I am wondering whether I should be using Lazarus.
Would I be able, using Lazarus, to compile and run my FP program without any modifications?
Any comments or guidance welcome!

Yes. It can be useful to rename them to .lpr (the convention of lazarus for a main program, as opposed to an unit, which btw, FPC also recognizes)
The main difference is that Lazarus is a bit more project centric, but that is usually a good thing.
