Is it possible to search for special characters in Cudatext?
I try to replace all tabs with something else, I type \t in the search box ... nothing found.

search for #9 instead. That is not escaped.(\)
Due to censorship, I changed this to "Nelly the Elephant". Keeps the message clear.

#9 finds nothing.
And I guess it will seem odd to people, not familiar with Pascal.

Using non-regex mode, you cannot find Tabs, because Tab-key pressing moves the focus.
Using RegEx mode, you can!
Enter "\t" without quotes. Check the RegEx option of course.

Thanks, it works this way - I enabled the button captioned .* and \t, \n... started working.

Also you can find tab-char in NON-RegEx mode, if you copy-paste the tab-char from the editor field. Pasting works in the Find dialog.

Thanks for the help!
Maybe it will not hurt mentioning how it is in notepad++ and Akelpad - I never needed assistance with the special characters there.

Making smthing like this will bloat the dialog (needs additional button), and syntax is not standard - AkelPad / NP++ have different syntax... so better not add it.

Is it possible to set custom keyboard shortcuts?
By default, there is no keyboard shortcut to toggle Main menu — View – Always on top.

Yes, keyboard hotkeys are configurable. And even can be set per-lexer.
In the 'Command palette' dialog focus some item (item which changes 'Always on top') and press F9.
Dialog will be shown.

Thanks, that did it, I was looking for (keyboard) shortcuts in the wiki.

written in Lazarus ?... for some reason, I think it "might be" written in Pascal, quite likely FPC.
FPC v3.2.2 and Lazarus v4.0rc3 on Windows 7 SP1 64bit.

@440bx,
I corrected the 1st post header: written in Free Pascal.
