What do you think about reorganizing of Lazarus IDE?

No. I like old Delphi IDE style and I don't want any changes.

Yes. I'd like Lazarus to looks like a modern IDE ( let's say, Visual Studio)

I'm not smart enough to decide betwee these two choices.

For example, I'm still working on a PC with Win 98 installed  ;)
I request testing RichMemo then!i

Speaking about "two cents", Ghosh, you should create a bounty to implement "modern looking" plugin for Lazarus. Or create a kickstart or something. Plenty of money gathering sites today.

For a small fee of $2000 USD I could do it in 60 calendar days :)

I made a small comment on the site.
Yep, fair => respect.

But i do not really understand the answer of Jon Lennart Aasenden =>

Quote
Yes, he did do that *after* my article. And for that he should be respected. However there was a time before that when quite a few aspects of his work was kept in the dark.
But he has cleaned things up and that’s great. CodeTyphoon on the other hand, continues like nothing has happened..

What does he mean with CodeTyphoon on the other hand, continues like nothing has happened ?

(i did not ask by myself because im free, i am not member of facebook or twitter)

CodeTyphoon on the other hand, continues like nothing has happened...

What do you mean with that ?
If CodeTyphon (with 1 o in Typhon) violates GPL for one of his packages or for CodeTyphon-self, please show us what is wrong.

And all of us will boycott it.

If you do not find anything, please present your apologizes and change the title of your article.

Thanks.

Gosh, there was quite a bit of irony, Fred vS.  I was a bit amused.  As for this topic, I think it's moth-eatened and worn out.  Gosh, I'd have to say that I'm not really that impressed with your statement that you're still using Windows 98.  But then again, I wouldn't have been impressed if you were using HAL 9000.  On a second thought, maybe I would.  In any case, I bid thee adieu.

Well done  :)

For example if I change the ide source (forms) and i put it somewhere (source and bin) there is any problem?

The image appears on Google Search Image as "Without Lincense Filter". Maybe it is the same as public domain.

The only font I used that could cause copyright problems is Rochwell Extra Bold. But I can change it.

EDIT: Already done.

Ok yes change it with an open source font.
And maybe using inkscape or illustrator the font will look better

The font now is Open Sans Extrabold. It is for "write once...".

The font for "Lazarus" is Phantom and for "object pascal" is Tahoma.

Excepting for the open sans extrabold everything looks fine for me. But I think a bit more of spacing between the picture and text will be perfect.

The Phantom font is awesome.

The item is for sale on ebay

The size of the bitmap of highest quality is 3872x2592 (at least I found it in a lot of russian websites) so you can print it yourself

The font now is DejaVue Serif Condensed.

Do you think that the image has copyright?

Search the topic, there was a long discussion on changing the splash logo, and the end was that it would not be changed.

Of course you can try your luck, but ...

Now its looking good.

No I dont think it has copyright. Usually photographers add a watermark and this does not have one.

I think I can change the logo of my lazarus or my lazarus 007 edition  :) not the official one.
