Btw:

LineText = SynEdit.Lines[SynEdit.CaretY - 1]


CaretY starts at 1
Lines[] start at 0

I get it. However it was, I'm glad to know that CaretY is actually the Line, I hope it remains the same in the future releases or I'll stick to same version of lazarus until i die  :D
