Reinier helped be on a couple of projects recently - I relied on his knowledge of Firebird DB.

I am shocked and saddened by this news.  He gave me no clue that he was ill.  My condolences to his family.

My Condolences to his family & friends too.

I was some days of! Man i can't believe it. He got my full respect for his done work, high SQLDB knowledge, FPCUP and his FPC and community support.

This also came as a shock to me, as I wasn't aware of his illness.  :(

I only know him through this forum, but he helped me many times and when the question wasn't his area of speciallity, he always tried to point me and many others in the right direction. He gave a great contribution to this forum and Lazarus project through his work.

I'm new here, just silent reader type. But I'm sure saw his name all around the forum.
Really great loss for this community. I'm sure many people will still be helped by his post even long after he's gone.  :'(
