want to make a network application?

I'm a newbie user, and i have a question. How to make network applications? On Delphi exists Sockets (WinSockets).But there are any network component for Lazarus??? Like ICS for Kylix, or i can use the ICS component on Lazarus???

AFAIK, Marco van Voort got ICS working in win32
It is somwhere in FPC contrib
