SetFocus bitbtn/button and other controls issue

is it possible to confirm that
when set focus is called ex. somecontrol.setfocus the focus rectangle is not painted as is painted when keys are used
performtab acts the same

tested with a timer to ensure that the focus is not lost from other activities
