[SOLVED] Lazarus "crashing" when mouse over variable...

That's strange...

I thought it was a random crash but I finally found the way to reproduce it...

I have a few variables defined in my code, every time I pass the mouse over some of them, the IDE freezes and starts using a lot of CPU and this seems to never end. The only way to exit the IDE is to terminate it in task manager.

I'm using Linux, Xubuntu 13.10. Don't know why this happens, but it already happened in older versions of Lazarus... Currently using 1.0.14.

Please try 1.2 RC2

If it still happens then steps to reproduce are needed.
It should then be reported on Mantis (bugtracker)

You may also run the IDE itself in the debugger, and pause it, and get a stacktrace.

Exactly the same issue with 1.2 RC2.

Strange is that it is happening when I pass over only 1 variable in the code with the same name, and the crash repeats if I pass the mouse over the same variable name in all other files of my project...
