Compiling problem

I can compile and run my applications when they aren't saved but as soon aas I save them and then try and compile and run them i get an error:


Fatal: Can't find unit UNIT1

even tho unit1 is running
any ideas/help?

I have no idea at the moment.

Can you give some more details?

What is your OS? What version of lazarus (cvs or from installer package) are you using?
What are the last (+/- 20) lines of output in the console?

I have Windows XP Home
the lazarus version i have is the latest one (cant remember what it is)

Thanks for this info. So, I asume you are using the latest binary download form sourceforge and not the current cvs version.

By console I meant the dos-box which is opened when you rin lazarus.
Alternatively you can start lazarus is a dos-box and report the last line shown in the dos-box.

Is there a unit1.pas  in C:\Documents and Settings\Tom\My Documents\Delphi\hingedshinobi messenger ?
