Yep it looks great :)

A small problem tho - I regularly use Google to find solutions to programming issues.  Posts in this forum are often in the resulting search.  Before, if I clicked on one of these links i went straight to the forum entry - now its takes me to the Home page.
Windows 7, Lazarus 1.0.8, FPC 2.6.2, SQLite 3

Yes, I can confirm.

Example: I search keywords "Lazarus" and "TButton". The third result found by Google is: http://www.lazarus.freepascal.org/index.php?topic=14692.0 which will take me to the new main page.
When I replace "www" with "forum" in browser address line, it will take me to correct link: http://forum.lazarus.freepascal.org/index.php?topic=14692.0

Lazarus 1.8.2 r57369 FPC 3.0.4 i386-win32-win32/win64 Wine 3.21

Not to worry. Google with soon reindex the entire forum. The new links will appear soon. The old links will drop out when Google confirms that they are really dead, which may take awhile.

OK, I reported it in the meantime. http://bugs.freepascal.org/view.php?id=24638 Let's wait how Google will behave.

The new layout is very elegant.

The only thing that I would change is to point the download links (both on the homepage and on http://www.lazarus.freepascal.org/index.php?page=downloads) to the current Lazarus version 1.0.10. It may be an idea to implement some mechanism that automatically redirects to the newest version (as it does already with the operating system).
function GetRandomNumber: integer; // xkcd.com
begin
  GetRandomNumber := 4; // chosen by fair dice roll. Guaranteed to be random.
end;

I agree, it's a very nice new page.  I really like the "Tip of the Day".

The only problem I have is that http://www.lazarus.freepascal.org/index.php?action=unread used to take you to a list of all unread posts on the forum.  I used that a lot and would like to have it back.
