I'm willing to keep my lazarus up to date whenever an update is posted now, and have some questions about the way i should do that (i'm under win xp):
- Should I also get fpc from svn sources (and if yes, wich one, 2.0 or 2.1 branch ?) or should i stay with the released compiler version (2.0.2) ?
My lazarus was compiled yesterday with the the latest stable release, but i want to know if it's better with more up to date files.
- Now that I have compiled it, set it (installed packages, configured options, etc ...), how should i update it ?
I mean, I update my local repository from the svn, ok.
Then, do i export it to my working directory and redo a "make clean install" in it ? Or do i need to use another way.
Will my configuration and installed packages set ups kept ?
Or should i set them every times ?

On a side note, i would like to know if there is any solution for the high disk space usage of sources (especially on my fat32 hd).
I use a fat32 partition to only download the source one time for both my linux and windows, and then just export to them.
But while the sources files aren't that big (less than 100Mo), the file space it really use on disk is around ~500 Mo. It's even worst for fpc.
