Hi,

Is there or will there be a set of components to do reports with?

I would really like something like ReportBuilder for Lazarus .

I have looked into this a few times, and lately have looked into powerpdf specifically. powerpdf is a pdf reporting suite(no native db controls), for delphi/kylix, lgpl iirc. I was able to make some very simple modifications to make very basic db aware pdf reports that work with the jvUIB components, so it may be possible long term. A Preview would have to be created and I would prefer if it would be as near as possible to quickreports for easier porting of reports from delphi pro's, which will take probably a lot more work, but its still a possibility.

How did you get PowerPDF working in Lazarus?  After some code hacking on it, I was able to drop a report object on the form, but any other objects crash Lazarus.
