Portable music/sound library?

(1/7) > >>

Rave:
Do you know of any Lazarus/free pascal compatible music/sound playback libraries? OGG playback is a must, though playing module files would be nice too.

I don't want any library that have license shenanigans going on like FMOD or BASS. I don't like idea of having to pay X% (or even flat price) in case I make commercial title. Don't get me wrong - I'd eventually end up giving money to the project, just don't want to be forced to.

Also said library should at least have mac/linux versions aside of windows one. And easy to use API.

BigChimp:
Have you searched on the wiki (multimedia programming/audio programming articles)?

Rave:
Yeah, but either it has license shenanigans like one in FMOD/BASS or doesn't fit my needs (i.e. no mac/linux versions or too low level, like OpenAL).

Audorra is pretty much dead (last version in 2010) and I'm unsure of legality of UOS should I want to make commercial (and therefore closed source) game, particularly libraries utilized by it - if any of them falls under GPL, I'm doomed.
