Hello,

The XCEED compression libraries products and the
Easy compression library are not fault tolrant to
power failures etc. i think, and they are not parallel compression  libraries, and you can not use them as a hashtable from
the harddisk with very fast direct access to the compressed or
encrypted files , my Parallel archiver have O(1) complexity on
each method so it's very fast, and you can use it as a very fast  hashtable from the hardisk, i have showed you how in my test_pzlib.pas demo inside the zip file.

Thank you,
Amine Moulay Ramdane

Hello,

The ExtractFiles() method is O(1) complexity

The GetInfo() method is O(1) complexity

The DeleteFiles() method is O(1) complexity

The Exists() method is O(1) complexity.

etc.

So now you can also use my Parallel archiver as a very fast hashtable from the harddisk with O(1) complexity.
and with very fast and direct access to the compressed or/and encrypted data

My Parallel archiver is more stable now, and it's very fast and
very easy to use and it cost you 0$.

Hope you will enjoy it.

Hello,

Question:

Why you didn't use Zip format or 7Zip format ?

Answer:

Parallel archiver use its own format, but it still useful
when you want to compress and/or encrypt your
data internaly inside your company , or on your computer(s),
but when you want to give your data to others , you can use other zip tools or...  but since it will be ported to other platforms such
us Linux and Mac OSX  and will have its graphical user
interface perhaps, that will be a good thing also.

Thank you,
Amine Moulay Ramdane

I like the song, honestly. I also liked the earlier songs I found behind your links. I didn't understand the words but that is OK.

Now, Aminer, the problem is that your communication is one-directional.
You advertise your libraries in lengthy messages but almost never answer questions or comments given by other people.
Can somebody please count how many times he answered for something?

The fact is that some admins would like your posts to be moderated.
There is nothing wrong in your music links, or in the code you have created, but you should understand this forum is meant for 2-way communication. It is a social thing, built around Lazarus SW!
You behave like an autistic person who has no idea of rules of social communication.

A couple of years ago I recommended OpenSuse for you in a private chat. Yes, it was 2-way communication which is a good thing.
Later OpenSuse had some problems and I switched to Mint myself. Sorry if my recommendation was not perfect.

Already years ago I asked you to move your code into a revision control system.
I tested some code of yours under Linux. I had to fix many things before it compiled. Later you changed something. Then I had to download it and make the same changes again.
Using a revision control system would have solved it. I could have updated your changes without braking mine.
The strange thing is that you never gave an answer to my request. You could have answered "No, I don't want my code in a revision control system!"
... but no, you did not answer anything. It is like you are floating in space, ignoring all people that might exist on earth.

Could you please now answer my question: why don't you want to put your code under a revision control system?

Aminer, please understand that I am on your side. I am not a master of social communication myself (some forum members may confirm that...)
Maybe you are like a sensitive poet and you need protection.
However, please change your style or you will be moderated!

Regards,
Juha

Thanks for your answer Aminer. I appreciate it.

You use english for 1-way communication a lot without problems, don't you?

Do you mean you never downloaded any tool like FPC or Lazarus from a revision control system?
Those systems have been around for a long time and they help SW development process a lot.
Your threaded libraries are quite high-tech. I find it hard to believe that you don't know how to use a revision control system.

You have many alternatives. For example:
http://sourceforge.net/   (FPC is under section "Project of the Month", nice)
 https://github.com/
 http://code.google.com/

Anyway, please consider all the people who are NOT interested in your libraries.
Instead of copying a long list of changes to the forum frequently you could provide a link to your site and put the list there.

Thanks for your co-operation.

[Edit:] I will continue testing your libs on Linux if you get the revision system working. Then all possible fixes can be patched easily.

Juha
