operation method: "samevalue"
« on: February 20, 2006, 09:42:35 am »
hello there....

I got a question about the "samevalue"-command an hope there is someone around who can help me.

How exactly does the command work? i am entering three parameters where the first two are the variables to be compared and checked for equality and there is the third one which defines the accuracy of the test.

Which characteristics may the third parameter have?
I've seen an example where it was "0". Does that mean comparison doesnt go deeper than first decimal place or does it define the tolerance as "zero-tolerance" (which would make using "samevalue" kinda absurd as far as i can consider)?

thank you.

regards,
Fugu
