Lazarus on Linux x86_64
« on: January 31, 2013, 09:22:00 am »
Hi Folks.

After installing whatever version (1.1, 1.0.4, 1.0.5) trying to install first package: BOUM !
Messages:
/usr/lib64/lazarus/components/daemon/reglazdaemon.pp(58,31) Hint: Parameter "AProject" not used
"Compiling package lazdaemon 0.9.9" completed
Fatal: Can't find unit system used by Lazarus

Other information:
- system: OpenSuse 12.1 x86_64, KDE, FPC 2.6.0
- after installation I have to force a sudo chown -R myuser:users /usr/lib64/lazarus/*, otherwise nothing related to Lazarus compiles whatever it could be
- another sudo chown -R myuser:users /usr/lib64/fpc/ and sudo chown -R myuser:users /usr/share/fpcsrc/
- after all those chown's, everything compiles except Lazarus IDE
Best of all, last year I've had a 1.1 version (out from rpms) up and running with all chmod's of course. Unfortunately I don't have this rpm any more.

Any help would be appreciated.
Antonio
