Working with JPEGs

Hi

I am new here. I would like to learn how to work with JPEGs in Lazarus.
I am a delphi programmer and now I installed lazarus on my linux.

I noticed that putting JPEG in uses does not work. What I have to do to work on and resize jpegs?

You have to compile and install the jpegforlazarus.lpk package first in ...\lazarus\components\jpeg.

Oh... thanks!
Wonder why components that comes with lazarus are not integrated... but never mind that... important is to have it :D
