Mouse cursor in the way

When I move the mouse over the components in the IDE to see/read what they are, the cursor is showing up on top if the component and gets in the way so that it is hard to read the pop up hint.  Is there any way to adjust where the hint show up?  Thanks.

For me they appear under the cursor, not overlapped. I updated SVN Lazarus mid-october.
