Posting this idea here as a reference.

Just had an idea for debugging syntax errors. It would be cool if the Lazarus debugger could show you suggestions on fixing the syntax compiling errors. Like a spell checker suggesting alternative words. This could be shown as a dropdown list and the programmer can then choose the acceptable source replacement text.
