MyNotex 1.2.3 released
« on: July 06, 2013, 03:36:38 pm »
The 1.2.3 stable version of MyNotex, the free note-taking and note manager software for GNU/Linux, has been just released. Some new features are:
  • improved list management and styles;
  • move a paragraph up and down;
  • copy selected text of a note in Latex format
  • send a note as email through the default email software.
The interface of the software is now available in English, French, German, Dutch, Italian, Portoguese and Russian. The manual is available in English, Italian, French, German and Russian.

The website of MyNotex is https://sites.google.com/site/mynotex.
The source code is available in the website and also in https://github.com/maxnd/mynotex.

I hope you'll enjoy it  :)!

Massimo

Hi there. Great work. I wonder if you have a version for Windows. I want a cross-platform note taking application so I can make notes in either of Windows or Linux. I've already downloaded the Linux version & I'm trying it out.

Thanks,

JD

No, there is not a version for Windows because MyNotex uses a version of TRichMemo component improved by myself, but the improvements are relative only to the GTK version. It should be necessary to add the new procedures to the Windows code of the component. The remaining part of the code of MyNotex should work fine.

@maxnd
You could share those changes in the component TRichMemo?

Well, obviously the source code of the modified component is already in a folder within the source code of MyNotex, both in the website (https://sites.google.com/site/mynotex/files) and in GitHub (https://github.com/maxnd/mynotex).
