The Complete Guide
« on: June 19, 2012, 04:24:04 pm »
Hi, I would just like to ask this:

are there any advantages, apart from supporting this excellent project, in purchasing the Complete Guide?  It would appear that all the information, that I might need for my small programming needs, is available, either here or elsewhere on various sites.

It's just, that my book shelves, are already heaving with many tomes, that rarely get used these days.

Any thoughts?

Regards Tim

Hi Time,

I just received the book and think it is very much worth it.  It's more more organized than what's available on line.

I'm on the fence in this. The chapters on packages, project organisation etc were very helpful. The parts about databases perhaps less so but that might be because I had more existing knowledge on that.

On the whole, I'm glad I got the book as I don't have a Delphi background and things that might be clear to others with that background may not be clear to me.
