Lets creat a DBCtrlGrid component !

Hi all Lazarus developers !

I try to clone the Delphis DBCtrlGrid component, and as staring point I'm using source from D7. (I hope it is legal ?!)
Now I able to use this component on design time, compile it and run component in sample project, but
it has many bugs what I couldn't solve. I'm stuck !   :'(  Please help !   O:-)

Surely it's illegal, never do such a thing. If you want to create a clone, simply take the interface. The implementation must be done out of the original copyrighted code, even you should never ever see the original code because more or less you (and therefore your code) would get affected.

Please then remove the attachment, and forget it !!!  :-X

This component is extremely useful and Lazarus must have it  !  I agree with you, if it is illegal then not in that way !!!
I will start it in other way ...

patyi, leledumbo is right; could you remove the attachment please?

(You need to remove it - if you modify your post, you can delete the attachment there. He or I can't do it)

Yep, it looks good.

If you describe the functionality you're looking for in a grid, perhaps other people can recommend one of the various grids (there are a couple).
