@Gintas

The main purpose I started the designer was a quick editor to do buttons. Then as I progressed more ideas came to light. the window was just big enough to show all the property editors, but then I made it possible to change button width and height. features to improve is a resizable canvas area to enable bigger buttons. The previous posts in this discussion (about 2 up) you will see that Lainz and I is discussing the possibility to enable the saving all three states to bitmaps. Lainz has suggested creating a new button to enable this.

Another improvement i am busy with a simple XML reader/writer to enable text editable saved files for the button design.

You can use a TScrollBox, put all the controls in it and that solves the height problem.

@digeo

I think your app will keep growing.
Saving buttons as images should be easy if you are using TBGRAVirtualScreen. And
for XML I can recommend JVSimpleXML... I am using slightly modded version of it from Andorra 2D Game Engine
package.

I am stuck at loading BGRABitmap from XML using stream.

Reading this old topic I had an impression that I will be able to download digeo's BGRA Button Designer application or lainz's testbuttoneditor. However I was able only to find dead links.

Can someone provide download links, or tell me if there is some button editor which can generate code to avoid manual work?

The problem is that these editors are for the old TBGRAButton, now its TBCButton and the properties has changed.

You can use the object inspector, unfortunately it doesnt have live preview for other states than the normal state of the button.

You can save to file and load from file TBCButtons, it uses standard LCL code to do so. Plus the text file is human readable.

Edit: I downloaded BGRAControls 1.2.1.0 and yes, it has the button editor but it doesn't compile with the newest BGRAControls, as well seems by the screenshot that it just downloads a png image of the button, so nothing special about it.
