How to make a Window Transparent on Linux

Does anyone know how to make a LCL Form Transparent in Linux, by that I mean erase background with out alpha-ing out the contents of the form.

I think it is not yet implemented, maybe in LCL-Qt. Also I'd say it will probably need the XComposite X11 extension to be installed to work, so not something which will work universally.

Non-rectangular forms on the other hand should work well in the LCL:
