Problems with fppkg
« on: October 03, 2011, 08:42:33 am »
Hello!

I would like to use the webdesign packages, I mean embweb, webdesign and jquery. As I know the links on official website are out-to-date, I wanted to install them with fppkg. But when I try "fppkg list", I get "Compiler returns invalid information. Check if fpc -iV works"
With "fpc -iV" I simply get "2.5.1", should there be more?

I have following running system:

System: Ubuntu 11.04
Lazarus: 0.9.31
FPC: 2.51

I have installed Lazarus and FPC with the shell-scripts from silvioprog.com.br and everything worked fine. I also downloades a GUI for fppkg and compiled it. I'm able to download the zipped Sources of the packages, but the automatic installation fails. How can I manually compile and install the packages so everything works?

Can anyone help me with this?

Thank you
Yann
